About the CEO/Founder

As the CEO and founder of Healing Transitions, my journey has been deeply influenced by my own experiences with trauma, which fuels my passion for providing healing support to others in our community. With over 25 years of experience in state government, nonprofit organizations, the state university system, and private businesses, I have witnessed firsthand the profound effects of trauma on individuals and their relationships. This personal connection to the struggles many face has driven me to cultivate a culture of understanding and support among businesses and organizations, emphasizing the importance of trauma-informed practices. I have provided trauma counseling to various populations which has fueled my passion to assist others by offering coaching and mentoring services to help individuals navigate their trauma recovery. I am currently pursuing my clinical social work license, with the goal of establishing my own practice to provide counseling for those who have experienced trauma. My journey is dedicated to creating a compassionate community where healing and understanding can flourish, supported by training facilitation and curriculum writing that promotes effective trauma recovery strategies.
